1888PressRelease - Charming accommodations with full service open this month in Domme, highly rated as one of France's most beautiful villages and near a multitude of vacation experiences. These luxury lodgings exude the character of the enchanting Perigord region. France's Dordogne Valley has three new luxury lodgings on offer starting today. Exuding typical style and comfort, these "locations de charme" are the fruition of months of renovation in two historic buildings in the commune of Domme, a bastide town overlooking the Dordogne River.  Bespoke experiential options such as cooking classes, cheese & wine tastings, and visits to a private troglodyte village add to the allure.  The first location on Place de la Rode inside the foritifed villaged offers two luxury apartments, each with two bedrooms. This ancient stone house dates back to the founding of Domme by the king of France in the late 13th century, and displays original features such as a beautiful Gothic arch in one of the bedrooms. Both apartments offer stunning views of Domme's ramparts and on of its ancient gates, the Porte del Bos. One of the vacation rentals features a stone fireplace, garden terrace, and spa tub. The other offers a spacious terrace with captivating views of the rooftops of Domme, the Porte del Bos, and the Dordogne Valley.  Nearby, in a nearby Domme hamlet called Saint Front, another luxury studio awaits its first guests. Built into the entry level of a large stone house, the studio has astounding 5 metre high ceilings, allowing for the creation of a spacious sleeping loft. There is also a comfortable living area and the apartment features handmade windows and doors fitted into a beautiful arched entry. All apartments offer full kitchens, en-suite bathrooms finished in travertine or Italian tile, as well as spacious comfort so often lacking in French vacation apartments. Services including housekeeping, massage, Champagne on arrival, concierge services, wine & cheese tastings, cooking classes, and breakfast delivery are options.  Domme has recently been named among France's 20 most beautiful villages by both The Telegraph and The Guardian newspapers of London. Nearby attractions include pre-historic caves with wall art, the castles of Beynac and Catelnaud la Chapelle, the medieval town of Sarlat, Marqueysac Gardens, and La Roque-Gageac. Outdoor activities abound including hiking, kayaking the Dordogne, and site seeing. http://www.experienceperigord.com
