McAfee One Time Password or McAfee OTP is a program offered by the world-renowned security services and software provider, McAfee. The program adds an extra layer of protection to the applications and the device by enabling a strong and multi-factor authentication feature. For this, it merges the username and password (required to access different applications on the system) authentication with a second authentication system, i.e. OTP. The McAfee OTP then confirms the given username and the password with the one that has already been stored in its database. After verifying, it sends the user a One Time password, which is required to be entered to access that particular application. Source : mcafee.com/activate
