Microsoft, the tech giant has made an announcement on 10th October 2017 that the support of Widows 10 November update, Office 2007 and Outlook 2007 has been officially ended. So, if you are still using this update from two years ago, you would want to upgrade to a newer version or switch to an alternative solution. In other words, you won’t be receiving any updates or security patches from the Microsoft moving forward.

This update of the windows 10 was released in November 2015 as the first major update. The move follows Microsoft ending support for original Windows 10 build earlier this year. This will affect Microsoft Windows Home, Education, Pro and Enterprise editions. To check that your system is running Windows 10 November update, type Winver into the search box of the taskbar or press Windows + R to open the run box and type Winver and press Enter.

Microsoft has now moved its operating system to a service model, releasing major updates every year instead of selling a standalone version every few year. So far, Windows 10 has been provided to already using Windows customers for free. If you will not move to the latest version of Windows, you will not receive any update from the Microsoft, even if your operating system is functioning as usual.

Like the Windows 10 November update, Office 2007 and Outlook 2007 are also coming to the end. Microsoft has release this productivity suite and the email client, a decade ago. However, mainstream support for both the services ended on October 2012.

Much like Windows 10, if your Office and Outlook clients have reached the end of support of their cycle, you should consider upgrading to a newer version of Office and Outlook, or find an alternative service.
