The app also comes in an upgraded version (Epocrates Essentials) for a yearly fee of This version includes additional information on diagnostic info and tests, insurance codes, and alternative medicines.

But regardless of which version you choose, users get free app updates and medical news. Epocrates Rx is available from the Epocrates website for iOS, Android, and Blackberry.

DDS GP is an award-winning app from a company called Kick Your Apps and is designed to help you deliver information and diagnoses to patients. The app comes with a library of over 200 presentations covering topics from tooth decay and cracks to gum disease.

One of the app's greatest features is how you can customize the experience for individual patients. You can also share your consultations with patients by printing out plans or sending them over email.
