o   Residential Water Heaters include: Gas & Propane water heaters, Electric water heaters, Tankless water heaters, Hybrid water heaters, Solar water heaters.

o   Commercial Water Heaters: Commercial water heaters, Boilers, Skid systems, Storage tanks.

We will see commercial & residential water heaters that help for many purposes while selecting for your home.

Tank Type Water Heaters

Traditional tank type water heaters are the most common water heating systems for many years. They offer a ready reservoir or storage tank of hot water. Tank type water heaters come in a variety of different capacities and you can choose them based on your needs.

This type of water heater constantly uses energy to heat the water. Thus, you have standby heat loss in these heaters since water is constantly heated in the tank, even when the hot water tap isn’t running. In consequence, it becomes energy inefficient. If the tank size is not big enough, they can also run out of hot water if the demand is more.

You can consider less conventional water heaters like solar water heaters or heat pump water heaters as they have lower annual operating costs.

Heat Pump Water Heaters

It has a small air-source heat pump that acts as a primary heat source. This pulls heat from the surrounding air and moves it to the heat exchanger, where water heating takes place.

Heat Pump Water Heater systems have higher initial costs than conventional storage heaters. However, they are two to three times more efficient than the latter and more expensive.

Indirect Water Heaters

They can be highly energy efficient as they are integrated into a home`s heating system. It relies on the heat from a furnace or boiler to heat water to maintain water in the storage tank.

Tankless or Demand Type Water Heaters

They heat water without the use of a storage tank. They provide a constant supply of hot water. It heats water as needed and you do not have standby energy losses which help you save money. Gas fired tankless water heaters produce higher flow rates when compared to electric ones.

Solar Water Heaters

They use solar power to heat water. Also called solar domestic hot water systems, it can be used in any climate and the fuel used is the sunshine which is freely available. These systems have storage tanks and solar collectors. Solar panels heat water that is delivered to the storage tank.

There are two types of solar water heating systems: active and passive. Passive solar water heating systems are reliable, last longer and are less expensive than active systems.

You have solar water heaters in Dubai that are being supplied by companies for residential and commercial applications. You need to choose companies that provide reliable solar energy solutions to encourage save energy and make you conventional energy independent.
