People should be able to support the laws that are for their benefits. One such provision is to employ breath analyzer as a deterrent to drink and drive in the United States. How It Works?

Anything above the level of .02 BAC means the engine won’t start. Anything below that means it is safe to drive and the car start yet there is more to it. There is a requirement to keep breathing in the device intermittently after starting to drive. This has double purpose, first is to check that it wasn’t someone else who had blown in the device initially and second there is no rise in BAC.

There are always two sides to a coin and story. With the growing cases of DUI in the country it was definitely going to bet on something that can put a curb on such violation. The use of breath analyzer in car is no doubt a huge deterrent for the offenders but nowhere near a perfect solution. There have been instance of incorrect reading of BAC that has led to people losing their licenses for years or even lifetime. A heated debate is on with the centre on such ignition control devices. But for now those leaving the law no choice have to bear the brunt of it and use this device.
