One of the common fears of a person who is thinking of going to a retreat is, what will happen after a retreat. Will I be able to continue the same, will I be able to change my lifestyle and so on. Well, many people do things in the company of others but once they are on their own, they are back to square one.

This is the first and most crucial step to make yoga as an integral and eternal part of life. Don’t take a break in the lifestyle you’re following at the retreat once you’re back home. You’re pumped up and in the right frame of mind to make all the changes required to leave the old and adopt a new lifestyle. Clear the unnecessary things and invest in a yoga mat and other healthy food and get started immediately.

If you’re living in a place that doesn’t support you or you don’t have company at all, then keeping the momentum can be difficult. Find likeminded people or yoga studios where you will be motivated to continue yoga and support you in the journey you’ve started.

After months of doing yoga and following a new lifestyle, anyone can be susceptible to falling back to their old lifestyle or simply be lethargic. A scenario faced by many, it’s an indicator to be motivated again. Either you unplug from everything for a few days and follow the retreat lifestyle strictly or go back to the retreat to be reenergized. It can always be a destination you’ve never been to.

You’ve missed a session or two of yoga or medication? It” alright, don’t be guilty. Be sorry only if you don’t start again. Think of the toil and the money you invested to get where you are today. So move forward, hustle and win back that healthy lifestyle.
