The Star Parivaar Awards are the most famed small screen awards on Hindi TV and commends the best talents from the famous Hindi TV channel of star plus. The 2016 version of these awards took place at the National Sports Club of India Complex in Worli, Mumbai. The event, hosted by Harshad Arora and Karan Rajpal, was star studded and several celebrities made their presence felt. The event's telecast date is not confirmed yet but will be soon aired on Star Plus. Like every year, the awards show entertained its audience by some sizzling performance not only by the television actors but also by the Bollywood celebrities.
The winners in the award night were selected from an online voting system and also the jury, which included film maker Farah Khan and director Goldie Behl, also played an important role in selecting the winners. The winners list is as follows:
Favourite Pati Award: Karan Patel known for the role of Raman Bhalla in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein".
Favourite Patni Award: Divyanka Tripathi known for the role of Ishita Bhalla in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein".
Favourite Jodi Award: Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi for them role of Raman and Ishita in “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein".
Favourite International Jodi Award: Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi for their role of Raman and Ishita in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein".
Favourite Beta Award: Ashish Sharma known for the role of Ram in "Siya Ke Ram".
Favourite Bahu Award: Divyanka Tripathi known for the role of Ishita in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein".
Favourite Maa Award: Divyanka Tripathi known for the role of Ishita in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein".
Favourite Sasur Award: Varun Badola known for the role of Raghav Srivastav in “Mere Angne Mein".
Most Stylish Actor Award: Anita Hassanandani known for the role of Shagun in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein”.
Divyanka Tripathi won lot of accolades and awards in the award gala for her role in the TV serial "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein”. Designed by the team of Omung Kumar, the stage of the award show was a perfect mix of big screens and grand pops. Actress Ananya Khare beautifully managed to entertain the audience by her gags. A special aerial act was performed by the TV actor Nakul Mehta followed by a thrilling Kathak performance by Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Deepika Singh. The electrifying award show came to an end with a stunning performance of the popular rapper Baadshah who sang few of his big hit songs. Baadshah was later joined on stage by the actors Harshad Arora and Hina Khan. Overall, the awards night was a grand and exhilarating event which left a beautiful imperssion on the audience.
