SWAT Environmental holds their 2016 Annual National Franchise Convention

(1888 PressRelease) SWAT Environmental, nationwide radon mitigation company, held their 2016 Annual Franchise Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 17th and 18th. The conference featured a variety of industry leaders, goal planning for 2016 and reflection on 2015. Predicting growth of 25% in 2016 over 2015, SWAT Environmental is commitment to helping create healthy and safe communities across the nation.

SWAT Franchise Development, doing business as SWAT Environmental, a nationwide radon mitigation company, held their Annual Franchise Conference February 17th and 18th, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Corporate and Franchise officers reflected the past year's transactions, also, exchanged ideas for best practices and business development for 2016. Following a year of growth for the radon industry, the conference brought together several influential members of the radon community.

Guests at the SWAT Environmental Annual Franchise Conference updated those in attendance on industry advances, new technology, and endeavors to create more awareness of the dangers of radon. Ryan Richie, the director of sales for Spruce Environmental Technologies Inc., gave priceless insight on new products for use by radon mitigation professionals. Shawn Price, President of AARST (American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologies), spoke on the organization's direction for 2016, with emphasis on the efforts of the radon lobbyist in Washington DC.

SWAT Environmental presented a check to AARST as they are raising the funds needed to continue working toward new legislation for protecting consumers against the dangers of radon gas. Dave Hill, President of CanSAR (Cancer Survivors Against Radon), informed the group of this charity's awareness endeavors. CanSAR is now raising funds to help the financial needs of those afflicted with radon induced lung cancer. Hill accepted a donation from SWAT Environmental as a Gold Sponsor of CanSar. Affiliations between the guest organizations , at the conference, and SWAT Environmental will continue through 2016, with further donations and joint awareness campaigns.

SWAT Environmental presented awards to two top performing franchises. SWAT Environmental of Ohio saw growth of 40% in 2015, and this was the determining factor when honoring Tony Mowrer, franchise owner, with the " Most Improved Franchise of 2015" award. SWAT Environmental of Pennsylvania is the "Franchise of the Year for 2015". President and owner, Aaron Fisher, accepted this award that was based on specific criteria. Mr. Fisher and Vice President, Katherine Fisher, had a phenomenal year of continued growth and development in their territories. They have continued aggressively marketing, showing compliance with the SWAT system of business and marketing, and they have brought innovative business practices to the table. As a company, SWAT Environmental installed over 20,000 systems, coast to coast in 2015. The company saw a growth rate of nearly 22% from 2014 to 2015. SWAT Environmental's goal for 2016 is to reach 25% growth over 2015 and corporate is looking to these successful franchises as a model on how to make that happen.

Priorities for 2016 at SWAT Environmental will be focused on the goal of expanding their training, safety, marketing and compliance for radon mitigation. Target marketing and radon awareness will be continued through real estate professional outreach, online presence, local offices and technicians. Being coast to coast, SWAT Environmental now has eight franchisees covering 22 territories, in addition to corporate owned territories. All franchises were represented in Las Vegas. In attendance from corporate were the owner and President of SWAT Environmental and SWAT Enterprises Jamey Gelina, Vice President of Franchise Development and Finance Joe Gelina, Vice President of Operations Aaron Jones. Also in attendance were eight Franchise Presidents and Owners: Nate Nowicki of Colorado, Aaron Fisher of Pennsylvania, Adam Neale of Massachusetts, Eric Schmidt of New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Rhode Island, Tony Mowrer of Ohio, Matthew White of Tennessee and Alabama, Todd Hansen and Scott Jacka of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois.
