11 matches have been played so far in the 2016 Asia Cup. The Cup is a cricket tournament which takes place in Bangladesh from February 24th to March 6th. For the fifth time it is held in Bangladesh and it is the 13th edition of the Asia Cup overall. The teams who participate in the competition are the team of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, United Araba Emirates, Pakistan and India. The two last mentioned are headed to a duel which will take place on February 27th at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Bangladesh. It is one of the most eagerly anticipated matches of the tournament, as India and Pakistan are arch rivals and their battles are usually very enjoyable to watch. There have been 7 matches between these two teams thus far. Last time they met was in 2014 in which India won over Pakistan by the difference of 7 wickets.
Out of the last 6 matches of Ind vs. Pak, the former beat the latter 5 times. The captain of the team India Ms Dhoni will be leading the team, whereas Shahid Afridi is to lead the Pakistani team. The Indian team is reportedly in a great shape and all ready to win the Micromax Asia Cup T20 tournament. Their last two successes were a win against Australia and against Sri Lanka.
The Indian team has strong players such as Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. On the other hand, the most important person in the Pakistani team must be their captain Afridi, however, the batsman Umar Akmal is also in a great condition and he has done very well in the Pakistan Super League.
