North Sea gas and oil workers offered chance to work as teachers

Gas and Oil workers who lose their jobs could be given the oppertunity to work as teachers. Fund is already announced for the industry.people wanting to work in the departments of technology, IT, Gamming, science, maths , engineering and will be given priority.

The general teaching council of scotland stated that it could also resolve the issue of teacher shortages. The  announcement of teacher tranining was announced by Education Secretary Angela Constance in Aberdeen. She stated that our workforce of gas and oil is highly skilled and it is very beneficial to use their  abilities to benefit our next generation( the fouture of our industry).

EIS Larry Flanagan said that this investment to retrain our workers as teachers will help us to cope with the problem of teacher shortages, along with with we also ensure
that only skilled teachers are deployed in order to maintain the high educational standards in the schools of scotland.

Recently david cameron also announed the funding pakage for north sea gas and oil sector.
