1888 Press Release - Solo show for award-winning photographer anchors Mardi Gras launch party at Guy Lyman Fine Art on Magazine Street, Saturday, January 16th, 6-9 p.m.

New Orleans, LA - A solo exhibition of Mardi Gras photos by award-winning New Orleans photographer Marc Pagani will anchor Guy Lyman Fine Art's carnival season-opening launch party.

The show, called "Faces of Mardi Gras," features carnival characters from Mardi Gras Indians to bead-wearing mutts.

"These photos not only show the huge talent of Marc Pagani, they also just plain bring a smile to your face," said Guy Lyman, owner of Guy Lyman Fine Art. "They capture so well the New Orleans spirit."

A New Orleans native, Marc Pagani has been creating award-winning images since 1993 -- including photos of colorful cultures all over the world shot during his worldwide travels. In addition to his photographic work, Pagani is an author, musician, educator, climber and Ironman triathlete.

The exhibition and party will take place at Guy Lyman Fine Art on Saturday, January 16th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The gallery is located at 3645 Magazine Street. The event is free, and refreshments will be served.
